Auditions for all shows are open to everyone. No previous stage
experience is necessary, nor is it necessary to be a member of Theatre Guild Valdosta to particpate in a show. Notices
for auditions are announced in the Goings On section of the Valdosta Daily Times, and in the mini-showcase next to the ticket window, and on
our website.
Theatre Guild Valdosta will hold auditions for its upcoming production of 9 to 5: The Musical Music and lyrics by Dolly Parton. June 3 & 4, 6:30 – 9:00pm At the Dosta Playhouse, 122 N. Ashley St., Large cast and chorus. Interested persons should prepare 32 bars of a Broadway style song, to be performed a cappella. The audition will also include cold readings from the show script and learning basic dance steps. Please bring a head shot that may not be returned. The show will be performed Aug. 1-3, 8-11, 15-17, 2013.
